It was such a delight to invite a select group of wedding and event planners to the prestigious Cliveden House hotel. Hosting with Lydia Kenny, the hotels’ in-house wedding planner, we showcased cakes from our latest collection and presented a masterclass.
A Beautiful Venue
Held in two of Cliveden House’s most beautiful private rooms we were supported by a wonderful team of creative talents as we spent our day with wedding and event planners presenting a masterclass and wedding cake showcase.

Invitations designed by Dimitria Jordan were mirrored with personalised menus laid on elegant chargers supplied by Duchess & Butler. The tablescape was beautifully feminine with soft golds, antiqued votives, opulent candlestick holders and delicate vases. The cutlery and glasses added a graceful finish to the most delightful setting.
Berkshire florists, Ruby & Grace, created the most divinely elegant arrangements with a blush pink, gold and green palette. All arrangements were set without the use of floristry foam ensuring that they were as ecologically friendly as they were beautiful.
We were thoroughly spoilt by the chefs at Clivden and enjoyed the most delicious two course lunch showcasing some of the delights on offer for a wedding breakfast.

Flowers graced the fireplace in the French Dining Room with a selection of centrepiece cakes from our latest collection, launched in May 2019.
It is always a delight to deliver cakes for a wedding to this most spectacular of rooms. For this event, it was an honour to showcase seven all at the same time!

It was our pleasure to offer a relaxed meet and greet with coffee and a chance to view the cakes up close before the masterclass.
A Creative Morning
Our guests, all celebrated wedding and event planners, enjoyed a morning masterclass and learnt a few tricks of our trade!
After a short demonstration, flower paste was rolled, cut, moulded to form the leaves and petals of a poinsettia and then assembled to create the finished flower.

The sweet creations were delicately added to a mini Christmas fruit cake provided by us and placed in a gift box ready to take home.

It is of the up-most importance to use that our cakes are the essence of perfection. Not only should they look stunning, but they must be delicious too! We took time to enjoy eating samples of our signature flavours; Supreme Vanilla, Lemon Drizzle Sponge Cake and Chocolate Guinness Cake with Baileys Drizzle.
